It’s finally summer and I’m sure a lot of you are planning a beach trip sometime soon! I wanted to give you the top products I pack when heading on a vaca to the beach!
First, let’s talk about sunscreen because this is a huge must-have to pack. This is a need not a want!! Get your sunscreen before leaving because when you get closer to the beach or if you go out of the country the price for sunscreen gets higher. So pick up your favorite sunscreen before leaving. My favorite sunscreen for my face is Dermalogica’s tinted SPF, not only is it protecting my face it gives me a nice tint to my face as if I put makeup on. So you can look good and protect your skin at the same time. For the rest of my body, I like to use just a regular sunscreen from any drugstore, usually, I get the tanning sunscreen so I can still get a nice tan but be protected.
Now let’s talk about some other essentials that sometimes we forget to pack, I like to take a couple of hats, I usually bring some ball caps then one floppy hat so when I want some extra coverage on my face and I’m feeling cute I can put it on. Sunglasses are next, try to take at least two because sunglasses are one of those items that tend to get lost easily but if you don’t have them it can make a day at the beach unenjoyable. Don’t forget to pack your beach towel, a big bag to put your beach items in, and some simple sandals to put on when heading to the pool or beach.
This next item is something that not a lot of people think of, but I always try to bring. A cup, I love to bring either a cute tumbler or my Yeti cup to keep my drinks cold. This is always an item that is a must for me.
Next is a clothing item that I hate when I forget, a beach cover-up, if I forget this then I end up always having my tank tops and shorts smell like the beach and have to constantly wash them. Bringing just a simple cover-up dress to put over the top of your bathing suit will save you more than you know.
Now let’s talk about being safe and sneaky. I get nervous to bring money with me to the beach because a lot of times you are In the water or playing in the sand and you tend to not keep an eye on your stuff. So I get some items that I can hide my money in and nobody would think twice about taking. I will link some items below for you but my favorite is the hidden compartment hairbrush that you can take the part top off and hide your valuables in. Best part is that it is actually a functioning hairbrush so you get a two in one.
Now let’s talk about some hair products, bring dry shampoo! If you don’t get in the pool or beach and you’re too lazy to wash your hair just spray some dry shampoo in, and there you have it. Another hair product that is a time saver, especially for a beach trip is a hairbrush straightener. It saves you so much time and you have to put little effort into looking good. This hair straightening brush is the perfect time-saver for getting ready at the beach.
Last product that I make sure to pack is some facial spray. Just so when I’m feeling super hot and not wanting to jump into the water. I can mist some on me and it keeps me refreshed and cooled down.
